A Trip to Hell
One-shot DM
During our group's campaign, "It Came from the Chateau," I became a DM (or Narrator, as C.J. Carella's WitchCraft calls the role) where the party managed to catch themselves on an express tour through the layers of the Chinese underworld.

and Lessons Learned
This was my first ever opportunity and attempt at running a campaign, even in short form, and during the preparations, I had vastly underestimated the work it takes to run a session properly as a DM, as I had not been exposed properly to the concepts of player agency and balancing that with structured mission design.

While this session ended somewhat poorly, I am still proud of doing it. Not just because I did it, but because the things I learned from this one-shot helped me become a better TTRPG player, future DM, and game design when it comes to mission and narrative design.
